Position Summary:Responsible for the maintenance of wired and wireless Cisco LAN infrastructure, installation, upgrade, and upgrade and maintenance of same. Additional tasks include the installation and maintenance of multiple wireless laptop, handheld devices, MS Exchange services support, configuration and maintenance of these systems and media as applicable. Duties will also include, development and implementation of AMARG specific plans, including backup plans, contingency of operations plans, change management plans, software/hardware deployment plans, and hardware technical refresh plans for clients, servers, and infrastructure. Essential Work Elements:� Responsible for the installation and maintenance of multiple Network Infrastructure devices: specifically Cisco Switches, Wireless Access Points, Bridges, and ACS Server. � Maintenance and support for Wireless LAN Infrastructure, devices and clients� Assists in the planning and implementation of network connectivity for new facilities and buildings� Troubleshooting and repair of all network connectivity problems within the Center.� Documentation and maintenance of existing Wireless Network related documentation � Microsoft Exchange (Users, Groups, Distribution Lists, Clients, etc)� Support for secure messaging clients and SIPRNET capabilities Required Education:Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline plus a minimum of five years of directly related experience. Training on Cisco based network systems, Windows 2000/2003 server management/administration a must.
